This is a great opportunity for a talented Graphic Designer to make their mark with an award-winning creative tech business in the East Midlands that offers career development for the right candidate.

As Graphic Designer it is essential that you have experience of designing for multi-channel campaigns for digital as well as print. You’ll also need to have 3-4 years experience working within a busy design agency or in-house creative team. You’ll be passionate about design and proactively research and share new ideas with your wider team members.

Overview:

You’ll be designing and leading the creation of advanced digital E-learning solutions for a variety of exciting international clients and with some of the world’s biggest brands. The role also offers the opportunity to attend client meetings and presentations in the UK and abroad.

You’ll support the Design Manager to direct, motivate and support Junior Designers, helping them to develop their design skills. You’ll also be offered the opportunity to develop your skills and be trained in using Articulate Storyline.

Your role will also include:

  • Designing creative and innovative design concepts including graphics and UI designs for E-learning to a high creative standard
  • Supporting and mentoring a team of Junior Designers, 3D Artists and Animators
  • Setting visual styles in line with client brand guidelines
  • Creating illustrations, info-graphics and editorial style layouts
  • Liaising with clients to gain an understanding of their learning objectives in order to conceptualise the designs for their desired solution
  • Using HTML and basic JavaScript to manipulate E-learning pages

What’s required?

  • A Degree or similar in Graphic Design qualification or design related subject
  • Minimum 2 years commercial experience in a design studio
  • Excellent experience of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop)
  • Strong UI design skills and basic front end coding skills 
  • Basic front end coding skills
  • Some experience of mentoring or training team members would be advantageous
  • A conceptual approach to work – you should be able to demonstrate design solutions for both print and digital media
  • Great layout skills and high attention to detail
  • Great communicator with good influencing skills – confident in front of clients
  • Positive and proactive manner – able to use initiative

Nice to have but not essential…

–      Experience with Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate

–      Experience in animation, motion graphics or illustration

–      Knowledge of UX design
