Our service to candidates is free and strictly confidential and you are not tied in to any contract.

Finding the right opportunity for your needs and future development is fundamental to us. We offer an honest, quality and caring service and provide you with detailed information about clients and opportunities on which you can make an informed decision.

We are committed to helping you find a new opportunity however we are unable to predict how long this will take and are unable to guarantee a job offer to every candidate who registers with us.

To enable us to represent you for opportunities, please read the below Terms and Conditions and approve by return of email.


Searching for opportunities

Upon registration we will immediately search for suitable opportunities for you through our current vacancies. New vacancies are placed with us on a regular basis therefore as a registered candidate we will be constantly reviewing your requirements and suitability against any new opportunities and informing you accordingly.


We carefully match candidates to vacancies based on their requirements and also the requirements of our clients. Our clients specifically choose to partner with us due to our friendly and open way of working – We don’t bombard them with unsuitable candidate details or use a hard sales approach.

We strive to get to know clients and candidates very well in order to ensure candidates are well matched to opportunities and businesses. We will discuss suitable opportunities with you and provide you with as much information as possible; about the role, company history, culture and more. However if you don’t feel the opportunity is right for you, please let us know. We will only send your details and make a personal recommendation to a client if you are 100% happy for us to do so and have given your permission.

We wouldn’t send your details to a client or organise an interview for you if we felt this could put you in a compromising or awkward situation.

Provision of ID and confidentiality

In order for us to represent you for opportunities, we will need to provide us with a scan or photograph of your birth certificate OR passport page. Unfortunately we cannot accept a driving licence.

Your ID will be held on your confidential file, along with your CV and other details. We are registered with data protection and your details are not shared with any other parties (including clients) without your prior permission.

Client contact

As we will be representing you, all client contact will be through The Creative Movement. Once your details have been sent to a client, we will also make a personal recommendation on your behalf with an aim to securing an interview for you.

We maintain regular contact with clients and will provide feedback as soon as possible, however we are unable to guarantee how long this will take especially if there are several people involved in the selection process. We will however update you as soon as possible whatever the outcome. If for any reason you aren’t successful, we will provide you with client feedback and continue to search for suitable opportunities for you.

Please do not contact a client directly unless discussed with The Creative Movement first. Some of the roles we manage are confidential.

Working with other recruiters

If another recruiter discusses an opportunity or client that The Creative Movement has already discussed with you, please let the other recruiter know that we have already recommended you to the client as they are unable to send your details if we have already done so. Likewise, if we discuss an opportunity with you and you are aware that another recruiter is already representing you, (or you have sent your details directly to the client), please let us know. We are unable to send your details if another recruiter has already done so or you have made a recent direct approach.


If your application has been successful and our client wishes to invite you for interview, we will arrange this on behalf of our client and provide you with full details such as address, what to expect/format for interview and who will be interviewing you etc. We will brief you fully beforehand, provide you with tips and answer any questions. If you are aware that you don’t perform well at interview or nerves get the better of you, please let us know – we’re here to help!

After the interview, we will follow up with the client for their feedback and inform you. It’s also important that we obtain your feedback too so please let us know as soon as possible. Many clients have a 2-stage interview process so it’s vital we know how you felt about them and whether you wish to progress to the next stage.

A job offer

If our client wishes to make you an offer, they will contact us initially to discuss salary, package and proposed start date. We will contact you to discuss and once you have verbally accepted, we will inform the client and ask them to provide you with the written offer as soon as possible.

Important: If you are already employed, please do not tender your resignation to your current employer until you receive the offer in writing.

We will retain a copy of your offer letter on your confidential file on our database.


It’s very likely that our client will wish to obtain professional references. We may request this on behalf of the client although some clients will prefer to do this directly. We will inform you if this is the case. If you are currently employed, one of these references should ideally be provided by your current employer, however it goes without saying that you should not request a reference from your current employer until you have tendered your resignation.

If you are in the early stages of your career, you may choose to nominate a College or University Lecturer.


It’s important that we keep your details up-to-date so if you update your CV or portfolio if relevant, please let us know as we will need to update your file with the correct information. If you find a new opportunity via an alternative method, please let us know and we will close your file down.

If we have contacted you on several occasions but do not hear back from you, we will automatically close your file

However we are happy to represent you again, if you decide to come back to us in future. We will simply reactivate your file and request updated information and your latest CV.
